Retro Sherlock Holmes - Old Games & Merchandise

As early as the first 8bit computers were available, Sherlock Holmes themed games were published on most of the popular personal computers such as the ZXSpectrum and Commodore devices.

The Sinclair ZX Spectrum came in several models, 16k, 48k, plus, 128k etc. So popular was this little gem that the software became widely available with literally thousands of games on the market.
Even today there have been many remakes of some of the most popular games such as Manic Miner, Dizzy, Chuckie Egg and many more.
The Commodore 64 was the only real rival in the beginning for the 'Speccy'. The main differences was the hard keyboard compared to the Spectrum's unconventional 'soft' keys. The colour palette also prevented the infamous 'colour clash' that the Spectrum had.
