"Arc of Yesod"

Description:
Rt.
Hon. Charlemagne Fotheringham-Grunes marks his
return in his second appearance in another subterranean
moon romp.
Not dissimilar to 'Nodes of Yesod',
but just as good. The idea is pretty much similar,
in that Charlie must collect Eight Crystals and exit
the game. Probably too similar to his first encounter
for those with limited pocket money, and £7.99
was a tidy sum for some of us in the 80's.
Scenarios
/ Levels:
1) Charlie begins his quest as he did his last; on
the surface of the moon, albeit a lot more inhabited
this time.
2) Exits are placed on the surface that allow you
to go below and begin your adventure.

Object:
As before, Charlie must collect
the eight crystals that are placed throughout the
numerous caverns and avoid the many nasties in doing
so.
Once all crystals are found, you
must then return to the exit in order to complete
the game. Some room entrances/exits are hidden and
can be opened by releasing a laser-firing pod that
you carry with you.
Release the pod and shoot the wall
to reveal the exit. The laser can also be used to
shoot any nasties that are giving Charlie a tough
time, and can be maneuvered about the cave for more
accuracy.

History:
Sequel to 'Nodes
of Yesod'
Criticism:
The
only real problem with Arc of Yesod is that it was
a mere clone of its predecessor. The same structure
exists, the same layout, the same objective and the
same methods.
However, the game-play, graphics
and overall playability still stood and for many how
loved Nodes so much, there was no question of not
buying Charlie's next adventure.

Sound & Graphics:
The graphics are superb-
well drawn, proportionate, and skillfully deployed.
Thor did well with the game and it maintained the
playability and quality of Nodes.
