Whilst many of the Speccy games are original in design, origin and development, there have been a number conversions from the Arcade platforms*. Licensing issues aside, even the most restrictive of game genres were converted- arcades had track-balls, steering wheels and special console controls.

This however, never dampened the spirits of those destined to bring the arcade into the Speccy livingroom
